Basin Rock encompasses a multifunctional space, serving as a gym, yoga sanctuary, and rock-climbing studio. Given its diverse purposes, flexibility in design was paramount. The inclusion of a garage door on the gym side enables the accommodation of larger groups for wellness activities, while the yoga studio boasts versatility for various classes and practices. Our design strategy harmonized with their brand identity, integrating biophilic elements such as shared natural light, warm wood textures, and lush greenery, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable ambiance throughout. Thoughtful lighting arrangements were made to facilitate uninterrupted yoga sessions, with indirect lighting behind mirrors creating an optimal environment for meditation and reflection. The adaptability of the space is further enhanced by adjustable general lighting and acoustic solutions like baffles to mitigate noise. Additionally, we incorporated Basin Rock's mission statement, serving as a constant reminder to guests: "No matter the journey or the height of the climb, with the right people, every ascent is possible."
